On Saturday afternoon, I was cleaning up the kitchen and Jason was working outside. Most of the sunflowers had died and he decided it was time to clean up our little garden area.
As I was cleaning, I heard the back door open and when I turned around, my sweet husband was holding these!
He cut off what was left of the good sunflowers from our plants in our garden and arranged them in a glass of water for me to enjoy.
I’ve always thought that sweet, simple gestures were the best! I’m so blessed to have a man that spoils me and loves me like crazy.
14 1/2 years passes far too quickly when you’re having so much fun being in L-O-V-E!
We made a Red Velvet Razorback cake for some good friends of ours’ tailgate party for the Hogs’ home opener this weekend.
I say WE because my awesome hubby helped me so much! He’s much more artistic than I am so he helped me with the Razorback-since it was my first one. In fact, it was at least 50/50. Love him!
Woo Pig Sooie! What a fun cake!
Last weekend the boys both played in some intra-squad scrimmage matches. It was a gorgeous day! It’s days like this that I especially love being a soccer mom!
The nice ref came over and tied Braden’s shoe!
So proud of our goalkeeper!
He works so hard and it’s paying off.
“Here it comes!”
“I got it!”
“Got it!”
Dive!
Here’s Rhett before his scrimmage.
He was flexing his big muscles for me!
Go Rhett! Don’t give up!
Look at that ball control!
Rhett was taking his turn to sit out on the sidelines. I looked over and saw him taking a shower with his water bottle. Literally. I don’t think there was a square inch of his skin that wasn’t wet!
Oh, that boy…
These are just the first of many soccer posts for this Fall season, I’m sure. We’ll be playing every weekend between now and the last week in October!
Softball!
During the summer months, they have softball in the afternoons. This is one of the favorite summer pastimes for our boys. And their Daddy!
