Rhett was chosen to be the Student of the Week for his class last week!
He got to make a poster telling about himself to share with the 2nd grade on Friday. He also got to bring a bag of 10 things in what they called a “Me Bag”. There was a checklist with 10 statements and he brought in something to represent each statement.
Here he is with his teacher when she introduced him to the 2nd grade.
Here he is explaining what his poster says.
Looking for his next item to share
“Something that represents your family”
I didn’t help him at all. This is what he chose! When the teacher asked for an explanation on how that represented his family, he smiled really big and said, “Because we’re all Vikings fans!”
“Something you really dislike”
“Something that is a special memory for you”
This was the seashell he bought with his own money on our cruise to the Bahamas last summer.
Awesome job, Rhettster! You did a great job presenting your items and telling about yourself and our family. You didn’t seem nervous at all to be in front of all of those people. In fact, I think you liked it! I see much more public speaking in your future!
I love you! Keep up the good work!
