I think these pictures are so funny!
If you’ve been reading for long, you should know that we are a family of football fans.
Gracie does love to cheer for her favorite teams (Razorbacks and Vikings… but she says she likes the Saints’ song the best. “Oh when the Saints go marchin’ in…” :) Although I must add that she can almost sing the whole Vikings fight song by herself! )
But one thing she HATES is the screaming and yelling and cheering. She hates loud noises in general, but when she’s right near where we are hoopin’ and hollerin’—she just can’t stand it.
She really wanted to sit on my lap to watch the game, but she kept turning around and scolding me. “QUIT Mamma! You’re hurting my ears!” So I just held my hands over her ears!
Then she got tired of sitting with me but still wanted to be in the living room with us. So, we had to figure out how to compromise. I was half kidding and told her that she needed to go get some tissues and stuff them in her ears.
So she walks back in to show me her handiwork.
She was pretty proud of herself!
Life’s never dull with this girl around!
