Back to School! The boys started back to school yesterday. 
They were so excited to start their day. Rhett wasn't completely convinced he was ready, but as we walked down the sidewalk on the way to school, he said, "Mom, I'm glad it's school time again." 
Braden has been ready for a few weeks now. Ever since he found out he was going to be in a "technology enriched" class. Meaning: lots of computers, laptops, smart board, digital cameras, etc. This little techie is gonna be in heaven!
Sissy was also excited to take the boys to school with me. She had her grapes and refused to be pushed in the stroller to the school. She insisted on walking. It was a beautiful morning and I wasn't in a hurry, so why not? Could you say no to this precious face? Let me tell ya, it's hard! 
We won't mention how sad she was when we had to leave the school without the boys. And that I had to carry all 33 pounds of her all the way back home...

And that I had to carry all 33 pounds of her all the way back home...We walked down and picked them up after school (Gracie rode in the stroller this time!). They were ALL smiles. I heard things like, "Awesome", "So nice", "Friends", "Cool", and my favorite, "I wish it was already bedtime so I could go to sleep and it would be time to go back!"
I'd call the first day a BIG SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so proud of both of my boys! I love and adore you guys. I hope 3rd grade and 1st grade are your best years yet!!!

I am pleased to see that the first day was a great success. Good job boys. I know you are both going to have a wonderful year. Have fun with all that technology Braden. Rhett, first grade is the most amazing year for kids. You are going to learn sooooooo much this year :)
