Silver Dollar Sunday

On Sunday, we got up and made sausage biscuits for breakfast. We also enjoyed some biscuits with some of my homemade raspberry jelly. Yumm-o! Then we got ready and packed up the camper because we had to be checked out of our site by 11am.

We headed straight for SDC again. Jason and the boys never got to ride the Lost River on Saturday, so they went there first. Gracie isn't big enough to ride so I took her back to the Grand Exposition and let her ride some rides by herself.

Here she is on the "Jumpy Frogs".

After she rode a few rides, we decided to go down to see if we could see Daddy and the boys come down the river on the Lost River ride.

A few minutes after we got there, we saw them!

We did a little window shopping while we waited for them to finish the ride.
Gracie loved the baby dolls, of course.

Posing with her new umbrella Daddy bought her. It was great to be able to use it for some shade!
Jason and the boys spent a good part of the afternoon at Tom and Huck's landing at the new River Blast ride. They got completely SOAKED. And had a ball.

The pictures are from a distance... I was as close as I was going to get. If I got any closer, Jason would say, "Babe! You're in firing range!"

Rhett
(Side note: Can you see the muscles in this kid's arms? He's built just like his Daddy!)
Braden concentrating hard on soaking the boat riders.
Daddy had just finished wringing out his shirt and the bottom of his shorts. They all looked like drowned rats!

We got home around 6pm and worked fast to get everything unloaded and into the house because there was a storm brewing and we didn't want to get wet!

After we got everything in the house, I found the kids sitting in the driveway waiting on the rain.

Gracie even had her rain coat on. They were ready!
